By accessing and using My Hockey Scout ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Platform.

Eligibility

The Platform is intended for:

  • Players aged 13 and above (with parental consent for under 18)
  • Coaches and scouts affiliated with hockey organizations
  • Teams and organizations seeking talent

Users must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

User Conduct

As a user of My Hockey Scout, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Respect other users and maintain professional conduct
  • Not engage in harassment, bullying, or discriminatory behavior
  • Not upload inappropriate or fraudulent content
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform
  • Not use the Platform for illegal activities
  • Respect copyright and intellectual property rights

Content and Video Uploads

Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you upload to the Platform. By uploading content, you grant us a license to use, display, and distribute your content for the purpose of operating the Platform.

Content Standards

  • Videos must show actual hockey gameplay or skills
  • Content must not contain inappropriate language or behavior
  • Do not upload content belonging to others without permission
  • Ensure all participants have consented to be filmed

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Intellectual Property

The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by My Hockey Scout and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Disclaimers

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the content.

We are not responsible for the decisions made by coaches, scouts, or teams based on the content displayed on the Platform.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Hockey Scout shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without cause, without prior notice. You may also terminate your account at any time.
